Retro before you were born.

Pretty cool. Though that's the last Dark Knight related thing. Promise.

I was thinking earlier, about how the NES is in some way the poster-boy for the retro gaming generation. You see the NES controller everywhere, mostly adorned by people who are too young to ever have been there when the console was about.

I know this for a fact, because if they were around at the time then they wouldn't be idolizing the console this way. Anyone with half a brain knows that the real shit went down on the SNES. How could anyone favour something over the version which is named the same except pre-fixed with the word 'super'?

I suppose unless you're in a committed homosexual relationship and didn't like DC's rather popular comic character.

So what I'm saying is 'sure, I have a NES belt. But don't even think about relating to me unless it's to talk about how much cooler the SNES was. And if you're younger than 23 and you're wearing a thundercats T-Shirt don't even make eye contact with me.'

I'm glad we got that out of the way.
